Dee Jay Thompson September 13, 1935 - February 17, 2024 Our loving, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Dee Jay Thompson, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Perry, Utah. He was born Sept. 13, 1935 in Logan, Utah, a son of David and Violet Thompson. He was raised in Cache County where he learned the importance of a strong work ethic at an early age. He graduated from Logan High School and Utah State University before serving in the US Army.

Dee Jay married Sharon Spendlove on July 17, 1964 in the Logan Utah Temple. He worked in Thiokol's Accounting Dept. for nearly 35 years. When not at work, Dee Jay was busy as a handyman and working with his best friends Dean Richards, and later, Elmo Christensen.
