A groundbreaking ceremony for the Brigham City Temple has been set for Saturday, July 31, at 9 a.m., officials from the LDS Public Affairs department confirmed today. According to local church leaders, President Boyd K. Packer will preside at the event. It was announced that a limited number of tickets would be available for the event, but officials in the public affairs department said no official word has been made as to whether or not tickets would be required. They did say the event is open to the public and the ceremony would be broadcast in local stake centers to accommodate those who can’t be at the site in person. Those interested should check with their local church leaders for more information.
