Lincoln Day Dinner Saturday

By theleader

The annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, at Alice C. Harris Intermediate School, 515 W. Husky Way, Tremonton. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. The cost for individuals is $15 and $25 for couples. They will be holding a straw poll for the U.S. Senate race as part of the event.  Those who have committed to attend are Senator Bob Bennett, Tim Bridgewater, Mike Lee and Cherilyn Eagar.  They will give each of the candidates in attendance five minutes to speak. Each person in attendance will receive a ballot and receive a chance to vote.  We hope that this will create some additional excitement at our event this year.  In addition to the Senate candidates we anticipate Congressman Rob Bishop, Senator Orrin Hatch and Lt. Governor Greg Bell to be in attendance and give a brief update.

The event was well done. Scott Ericson (and everyone helping)should be proud.

I believe that Cherilyn Eagar is the only one running who has supported and been active in fighting for conservative values for the last 30 years at the local, state, national and international level. [That includes Bennett]
