The Bear River swim team’s season is almost over. They headed to the region tournament last Saturday, which is their last meet before state. The Bears had a great meet as they took fourth in the boys’ and girls’ and third combined.
“I am very proud of the team for doing as well as they did. The boys only having nine on the team took fourth and the girls took fourth as well,” said coach Jen Christenson. “I am excited to see what we will do at state.”
They head to the State Tournament and BYU on Feb. 5 and 6.
On the girls’ side of things, the relay teams did very well. The 200 Medley Relay team of Amber Peterson, Ashton Roundy, Camille Ballard and Teghan Blank took fourth place with a time of 2:23.64.
