Garland Library
Children’s Schedule:
Fairy Tales and Fables with Miss JeriAnne are Thursdays, 4-5 p.m.
Adult Summer Reading Program will run six weeks with prize drawings for participants who sign up and enter their name for each book they finish.  Books highlighting various literary elements will be available through the summer.
BEEing Bilingual is Sweet Program – Tuesdays 6 p.m.
Tremonton Library
On Saturday, Sept. 6, from 6-8 p.m., the library will be holding a family activity for International Observe the Moon night. Come participate in a variety of fun moon and space-related activities.
That same night following the activity, there will be a movie, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.”
The summer reading programs have ended, but it is not too late to report your reading and get end packets with prizes. Come into the library before Aug. 30.
Registration will be done online.  The registration window is Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 22. Log into www.brms.besd.net and click on the registration link.  Please read instructions carefully and watch the required tutorials.
Parents or community members interested in serving on the community council for the upcoming year can call 257-2540, by Friday, Aug. 22.  Voting ballots will be sent home Tuesday, Sept. 16.  Ballots must be returned by Sept. 19.
BACA Fundraiser
The Eagles Lodge will hold its second annual BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) bike and car wash fundraiser.
The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 405 S. Main, Tremonton (the old Crumps parking lot), from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Blood Drive
The American Red Cross encourages citizens to take advantage of an upcoming opportunity to donate blood at the Tremonton Senior Center, on Friday, Aug. 29, from 3-8 p.m.

Religion Class
Tremonton West Stake is sponsoring an adult religion class titled Applying the Teachings of Isaiah:  The Beginning Chapters.  It will be held on Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m., at the West Stake Center (wear appropriate chapel attire), 345 S. 1000 W., Tremonton.

Perfect Love
Local pianist/composer Emilee Yates will perform inspirational music at the Logan Tabernacle on Sunday, Sept. 14, beginning at 7 p.m.
She will be joined by vocalist Elizabeth Tate and cellist Stephen Mitton.
