Bear River City: July 23-24, Wednesday: volleyball tourney 6 p.m., pie recipe contest 7 p.m., movie at dusk, “Goonies” and snack stand. Thursday: 5K fun run/walk 6:30 a.m., traditional bell ringing at school 7 a.m., breakfast 7-8:30 a.m., parade 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m., flag ceremony, races and other games start at 10 a.m., log cabin tours from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., volleyball tourney 10 a.m., baby show 10:30 a.m., auction and kids shoppe at 11:30 a.m., art show and quilt display from noon-8 p.m., program at 1 p.m., pie eating contest 2 p.m., baseball tourney 2:30 p.m., fish scramble 3:30 p.m., rodeo 4:30 p.m., dance at 7 p.m.

Park Valley: July 18-19, Friday: steak fry 7 p.m., followed by a dance. Saturday: breakfast 7:30 a.m., followed by a flag raising, program, games and lunch.Kids’ rodeo 4:30 p.m., (signups at 3:30 p.m.), rodeo begins at 5:45 p.m., and includes team doctoring.

Thatcher: July 18-19, Friday: pot luck dinner—families bring your own meat and a dish to share, camp out at the Thatcher-Penrose church park and Bowery that night. Saturday: breakfast at the church bowery from 7-9 a.m.

Tremonton: Friday, July 18, Suicide Prevention Walk 8 p.m., at Jeanie Stevens Park. Monday, July 21, Melodrama Camp Performance, Friday, July 25, Booths open and a BBQ contest at 5 p.m., men’s softball tournament 6 p.m., “The Lego Movie” at the Library Park at dusk. Saturday, July 27, Men’s softball tournament continued. 5K run at 7 a.m., 7:30 a.m., flag ceremony, 8-10 a.m., breakfast provided by city council, 8 a.m., booths open, 9 a.m., baby contest, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., car show, 10 a.m., carnival rides, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., little league all star games, 1-3 p.m., family contests, 2 p.m., home run derby, 4 p.m., family games and Alumni softball game, 6 p.m. stage performances. Concert at 8 p.m., and fireworks at 10 p.m.
