Former Tremonton police officer Jeremy Rose, 37, made an appearance Tuesday morning before Ogden’s 2nd District Court Judge Scott Hadley, where a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 14, at 9 a.m.
Rose’s attorney, Camile Neider, discussed with prosecutors Rose’s protective order restrictions that have been in place since Rose posted his $75,000 bail following his appearance on April 15. Hadley told Rose and Nieder that Rose can’t work with high school-aged teenagers at his job unless another adult is with them.
Rose currently has a protective order from the victim, who was a minor at the time he allegedly took nude and semi-nude pictures of her in her bedroom with a hidden camera. Rose also allegedly posed as an online website producer urging the victim to send in pictures of herself. Hundreds of pictures were exchanged between Rose and the victim.
