Summer Meals
Box Elder School District’s Summer Lunch program is offered at four sites this year:  Lake View Elementary School, 851 S. 200 W., and Mountain View Elementary School, 650 E. 700 S., both in Brigham City; McKinley Elementary School, 120 W. 500 S., in Tremonton; and Garland Elementary School, 450 S. 100 W., in Garland.  All children, one year to 18 years of age will be fed free lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., beginning June 9 and running through July 24.  Adults may purchase a meal for $3.  Students do not need to reside in the school area to eat.

Theatre Camp

Fielding Library

Auditions for the Garland Children’s Charity Theatre production of “Seussical Jr.” will be Monday, June 9, at the Garland Armory, from 10 a.m. to noon.  Those auditioning should come prepared with a song and a poem.

Relay For Life
The annual Relay for Life event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 13-14 at Pioneer Park in Brigham City.  There will be live entertainment from 6 p.m., Friday to 10 a.m., Saturday, with games prizes food and activities all night long.  A cancer survivor remembrance and luminaria ceremony will be part of event, which is a fundraising effort to help fight cancer. Salmon Feast
The salmon barbecue is slated for Saturday, June 7, from 3-9 p.m., at the Garland Armory, 66 N. Main, Garland. This annual event, now in its 37th year as a fundraiser for the Garland volunteer fire department, features salmon, baked potato, green salad, and more. Tickets are on sale now at pre-event prices of $13 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under.  After June 5, tickets will be $15.  Tickets available from members of the department or at www.garlandutah.org
