After 36 years, Joan Evans is saying goodbye to the banking industry and hello to retirement. Key Bank will hold an open house on her last day, Friday, May 30, for friends and customers to bid farewell.
Evans, of Bothwell, was born and raised in Tremonton. In 1978, she was hired to work in bookkeeping by bank manager Russ Webb who told her she would make “a good little teller.” She said, “I have done everything but be a teller.”
