Thompson has been wanting to be a part of “One for the Pot” for years after first seeing a production.
Thompson, a native of Deweyville and a 1991 graduate of Bear River High School, has years of acting and directing experience. He’s been in productions at the Heritage Theatre, as well as the Old Barn Theatre and theatres in Logan and Ogden. Making “One for the Pot” come to life at Heritage has been a highlight of that career.
“It’s hilarious with a clever plot,” Thompson said. “There’s so many interesting characters. It’s a lot of fun.”
Kellie Christensen from Tremonton plays Cynthia Hardcastle in the production. Aaron Whitaker, also from Tremonton, is a stand-in in the play.
“One for the Pot” is now playing at Heritage Theatre in Perry on Monday, Friday and Saturday, April 18-May 10, at 7:30 p.m. and on April 26, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $9 for children and seniors.
