ROAD VACATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 72-3-108 that a public hearing will be held concerning a petition to vacate Upper Portage Road in Box Elder County.  The public hearing will be held on the 2nd day of April 2014, at 5:20 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Box Elder County Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah 84302.  All interested parties are invited to attend.  If you have any questions, please contact Community Development Director Scott Lyons at 734-3316.

NOTICE OF TRUSTEE’S SALE

The following described real property will be sold at public auction to the highest bidder, payable in lawful money of the United States at the time of sale, at the East Main Entrance of the First Judicial District Courthouse, 43 North Main, Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah, on Monday, April 22, 2014, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. of said day for the purpose of foreclosing a deed of trust originally executed by Jim Delcambre, as trustor, in favor of Jean Snook, covering real property located at approximately 771 South 540 West, Tremonton, Box Elder County, Utah, and more particularly described as:

LOT 43, BLOCK 14, PARK MEADOWS SUBDIVISION, PLAT “C”, TREMONTON SURVEY.

LESS: BEGINNING AT THE NORTHERN MOST CORNER OF LOT 43, BLOCK 14, PLAT C, PARK MEADOWS SUBDIVISION, TREMONTON CITY SURVEY, AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH 1°22’25” EAST 89 FEET 3 INCHES ALONG THE EAST LOT LINE TO THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF A RETAINING WALL; THENCE WESTERLY ALONG NORTHERLY SIDE OF THE RETAINING WALL TO A POINT SOUTH 44°27’47” WEST 130.43 FEET FROM THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 44°27’47” EAST ALONG NORTHWESTERLY LOT LINE 130.43 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

The current beneficiary of the trust deed is Jean Snook, and the record owner of the property as of the recording of the notice of default is Jim Delcambre.  The trustee’s sale of the aforedescribed real property will be made without warranty as to title, possession, or encumbrances.  Bidders must be prepared to tender a cashier’s check in the amount of $20,000.00 at the sale.  The balance of the purchase price must be paid by cashier’s check or wire transfer received by 12:00 noon the following business day.  The trustee reserves the right to void the effect of the trustee’s sale after the sale based upon information unknown to the trustee at the time of the sale, such as a bankruptcy filing, a loan reinstatement, or an agreement between the trustor and beneficiary to postpone or cancel the sale.  If so voided, the only recourse of the highest bidder is to receive a full refund of the money paid to the trustee. THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT. ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Tremonton City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on April 8, 2014. 102 South Tremont Street, 5:30 p.m., or thereafter and at which time public comment will be heard and consideration given to a proposed amendment to Title I Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 1.19 Supplementary Regulations, allowing for the Keeping of Chickens in Residential Zones for the Purpose of Family Food Production. A copy of the proposed amendment will be available for review or comment prior to the public hearing at Tremonton City hall, 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah during normal business hours.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Tremonton City will hold a public hearing on April 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Center at 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah 84337.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending the Budget entitled “The Tremonton City Annual Implementation Budget 2013-2014 (General Fund, Capital Fund, and Enterprise Fund(s), and Special Funds)”, for the period commencing July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014.

A copy of the proposed budget will be on file for public inspection on March 27, 2014 in the City Office, 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah 84337.  Interested persons are invited to appear at the public hearing or to file written comments with the Tremonton City Recorder regarding adoption of the amended budget.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The March meeting of the Box Elder County Planning Commission will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of the Historic Courthouse.  This meeting was re-scheduled due to the Republican Caucus meeting on March 20, 2014.
