Storage bay burglar sought

Law enforcement officers from several agencies worked together to execute a search warrant on a Garland home, locating narcotics and stolen property.

Officers from the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office, Garland Police, Tremonton Police, Utah State Adult Probation and Parole and the Box Elder Narcotics Strike Force were all involve in the search at 88 N. 300 W., Garland on Friday, March 21, around 2 p.m..  According to a report the the Sheriff’s Office, several items from reported storage bay burglaries and thefts within the county and Tremonton City were discovered in the home, estimated at over $1,000.  Officers seized a small quantity of narcotics,  methampehtamine and drug paraphenalia.

While the suspect in the burglaries could not be located, officers did arrest two people inside the home.  Brian Dean Raehal and Starla Rae McCabe were booked into the Box Elder County Jail and face charges of possession of narcotics and drug paraphenalis.  More arrests are pending.

Formal charges are awaiting review byf the county attorney and the investigation is continuing.
