Thursday, March 20, the Republican Caucus will be held at Steve Peterson’s home, 2335 South East Promontory Road, 7 p.m. All those who are interested are invited to attend.
Boyd Udy reports getting ready to harrow his pastures. He knows his ground and does just what it needs.
Laura Wheatley, along with husband Zane and their two daughters, drove up to Lewiston last week and joined with Zane’s sister and her two daughters, Mia and Molly, to attend the movie ‘Frozen.’
The day after the movie was a calm one for the Wheatleys. They did their regular chores and spoke of planning for this year’s garden.
Orson Poulsen has received a horse from Leon Jensen to break. “I like working with horses,” he says. In addition to the new horse, Orson and Jeannette are working on their garden. Orson will plant some potatoes very soon.
Starr Mitchell has been doing lots of yard work. She is also busy digging up volunteer bushes and planting them in another area she prefers. Starr also says her dill seeds and basil seeds are coming along in their containers.
Justifiably proud, Starr says granddaughter Gabrielle is learning to count “….1, 2, 3, 5…..”
Cleo Petit says she and Gary are enjoying the good weather and sharing the normal “stuff” aroud their home and yard. “The good thing is that we’re both ok,” she says.
Aaron Richman turned another year older last week. Since he gets off work late and Winnie had to get home for chores, Winnie purchased some take-out for him and his family. A cake and ice cream also accompanied the meal.
On Tuesday Clynn’s brother DeLoy and Clynn’s cousin Joyner Lofthouse came to the ranch to visit him.
On Wednesday Winnie and Skyler had a marvelous piano lesson after Winnie’s art lesson. Winnie sprayed her robin painting and took it home. Her next endeavor is this year’s Christmas card.
On Saturday Aaron Richman came to the ranch to add hydraulic oil to Clynn’s plowing tractor. He also helped bring the tractor’s brakes and clutch in line.
Cylnn and Winnie want to thank Greg and Heather Lott for coming out to the ranch on Sunday and feeding!
