NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners will discuss changing the name of West Cutler Dam Road to Camp Fife Road in a Commission Meeting being held March 19, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be in the Commission Chambers at the Box Elder County Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah 84302. INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that Howell Town (OWNER) will accept bids for the construction of the WATER SYSTEM PIPELINE IMPROVEMENTS according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by the ENGINEER – HANSEN, ALLEN & LUCE, INC., and described in general as:
The construction of 9,400’ of 6” PVC drinking water pipeline and connections
Separate sealed bids will be received at the office of the Bear River Water Conservancy District located at 102 West Forest Street, Brigham City, Utah until   2:00 p.m.  on   March 12, 2014    and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.  Bids shall be addressed and delivered to the Bear River Water Conservancy District office prior to the Bid Opening.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained beginning  Friday, February 28, 2014  at the office of HANSEN, ALLEN & LUCE, INC. located at 6771 South 900 East, Midvale, Utah  84047 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for each set.  Checks should be made payable to Howell Town.  An electronic version can be downloaded without charge from Hansen, Allen & Luce’s website (email jrichards@hansenallenluce.com to obtain instructions).
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a Pre-Bid meeting which will be held at the Bear River Water Conservancy District offices located at 102 West Forest Street in Brigham City, UT at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

The Garland City Council passed ORDINANCE, O-14-02, amending Title 4, Chapter 2, Section 2 of the Garland City Code pertaining to Burn Permit Requirements.  The ordinance was passed and adopted on the 26th day of February 2014.  A copy of the ordinance is available for review at the city office, 72 North Main Street, Garland, Utah, 84312, during normal business hours.
