Baptist Study
Bear River Valley Baptist Church invites all who are interested in learning more about Jesus to join them in a study of the Gospel of John.  Bear River Valley Baptist Church meets at the Tremonton Senior Center, 510 W. 100 N., each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Evangelist John Kauer will be speaking on Sunday, Feb. 9.  His topic will be “Be Evangelistic,” taken from II Corinthians 5-6:10.  Pastor Kauer will be exploring the message that Christians should be sharing and what they can expect when they share.  For more information, call (435) 257-5992 or (435) 723-7987.

Job Search help is offered from 5-7 p.m., Wednesdays.  Stories with Torie, 4-5 p.m.
Teen Schedule:
Wednesday, Feb. 5 through Wednesday, Feb. 26 – Gossip Girl Session.  Girls age 12 and up are invited to join counselor Tina Peck at the library every Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Come in and talk about anything and everything.
Thursday, Feb. 6 – I Love My Library Day.  Today is Declaration Day.  Come in and declare yourself.  Sign our Declaration, available all day.  Gamers/Ping Pong, 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 12 – Make-up Club 6 p.m.  Make your own lotion.
Thursday, Feb. 20 – Library Snap Shot/Minion Day.  Snap shots available all day. Crafternoon 3 to 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 28 – MOVIE NIGHT. Catching Fire 6 p.m.  Free for everyone. Bring friends.

Making of America
A six-week DVD course on The Making of America – The Founders’ Principles of Liberty and the Meaning of the Constitution, will be held at the Bear River Valley Museum, 11 E. Main Street, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 5, and going through March 12. The class is from 6:30-8 p.m., and is free to the public.  For more information, contact Sue Tibbetts, 435-881-5022.
Tremonton Library
Teen/adult dance classes are offered Feb. 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Tremonton Public Works building.  Line dances and ballroom dances will be taught.
Tickets for the annul Mad Scientist boys’ party are on sale at the library.  They are $2 each for boys, age 3-23.  Tickets are limited.
The Tremonton Library is now accepting applications for the Teen Advisory Board. Applicants must be in 8th-12th grades. Pick up an application at the library.
As a Teen Advisory Board member, you will help plan and execute teen programming, give input on teen reads, help review teen books and help with other library activities.

Our House Assisted Living will hold a post-remodel open house for the public on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  Refreshments will be served.

Main St. Playhouse
Reservations are available now for the grand opening of the Main Street Playhouse dinner theatre, located above in the Bear River Valley Museum, 11 E. Main, Tremonton.
The first production will be “Wanted: One Groom,” a one-act play, running Feb. 14, 15, 21, 22, with dinner and show scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.  A show-only matinee is set for Feb. 22, at 2 p.m.   Dinner/theatre tickets are $30 per couple.
Matinee tickets are $5.  Tickets can be purchased at the Bear River Valley Museum, Monday through Friday, 2-5 p.m.  For reservation or for more information, call 435-225-6071.

Art Fair
The Box Elder School District Art Fair will be held Monday, Feb. 10, 6-8 p.m., at Garland Elementary School, 450 S. 100 W., Garland.  Each school in the district will send one art entry for each of their classes.
The public is invited to come and view the artistic and creative talents of area students.

ACHI Orientation
All current fifth graders and parents are invited to attend the annual Orientation Fair at Harris Intermediate School on Thursday, Feb. 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a general meeting in the gym.  This night, students and parents will be introduced to the faculty prior to registration.
They will also be given basic information about the school and the classes offered to sixth graders.

Town Hall Meeting
Rep. Ronda Menlove, Rep. Lee Perry and Senator Peter Knudson will hold a town hall meeting at the Bear River City Town Hall, 5871 N. 4700 W., Bear River City, on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 7-8 p.m.

Farm Bureau Banquet
The annual North Box Elder Farm Bureau banquet will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m., at Alice C. Harris Intermediate School, 514 N. 800 W., Tremonton.
All Farm Bureau members are invited to attend for dinner, great entertainment and door prizes.
