Vern J. Hansen
Vern J. Hansen passed away peacefully on January 13, 2014. He was born on August 26, 1923 in Logan Utah to Joseph and Daisy Currell Hansen.
Vern is survived by Joyce (Howard) Stokes, Dale (Sylvia) Hansen, Darwin Hansen, and Bonnie (Ross) Rudd.
Vern was preceded in death by his first wife Ethel and his second wife Ann Palmer Rucker.
Services for Vern will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 East 100 North Tremonton, UT. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45. Burial will be in the Elwood Cemetery with military honors.

Curtis “Dan” Jensen
Curtis “Dan” Jensen passed away on January 10, 2014 with his sweetheart and family by his side after a valiant fight with Alzheimer’s.
He was born on June 4, 1935 to W.B. Jensen & Addie Parker Jensen in Brigham City, Utah. He married Joyce Bernsen and to that union was born four children, Cathy (deceased), Curtis (deceased), Chris, and Candace. They were later divorced.
He married Patricia Jeppesen on November 26, 1993. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on March 25, 2000.
He worked as a butcher at Smith’s Food King, a carpenter at ATK Thiokol, and a custodian at Bear River High School. He is survived by his wife, Pat; step-children, Cindy (Chris) Fonnesbeck, Riverside, UT; Tiffany Bott, Tremonton, UT; Randy (Julee) Davis, Thatcher; Debby (Kim Munk) Carbine, Garland, UT; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and step children; Lisa Davis Jensen and Rodney Fredric Davis.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N 100 E, Tremonton, UT at 11:00 am. Viewings will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 pm and prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.

TREMONTON – Linda Mae Eichel Nessen, 72 passed away on January 10, 2014 in Logan.
Linda was born on May 2, 1941 a daughter of Earl Harold and Arlene Peterson Eichel but raised by her mother and step-father Raymond M. Hansen. She grew up on the family farm in Elwood. Linda graduated from Bear River High School and attended USU. She married Jay Gordon Nessen, they were later divorced. Linda raised her children in Tremonton.
She was a member of the LDS Church and had served in all auxiliaries in the church and she was ward pianist for many years. She was an artist, and enjoyed photography, ceramics, cooking, playing the piano and the guitar.
Special thanks to Katie and the nursing staff at Logan Regional ICU, Dr. MaReady, Williamsburg Assisted Living and the MANY care givers for their tender loving care of Linda.
Surviving are her children: Joni Nessen; Jana (Rich) Rawson; Eric Nessen; Jason (Linda) Nessen; Travis (Amiee) Nessen; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; also sisters: Carol Ann (Shirrel) Silvester and Rosalie (Ray) Yoder.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton 2nd and 5th Wards Chapel, 300 S. Tremont St., Tremonton. Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
