Elwood Town Council will be filling the vacancy of a Councilmember seat, the term is for 2 years. Any citizen of Elwood who is interested in the open seat must: be a resident of Elwood Town for at least 12 consecutive months, be a United States citizen, be 18 years of age or older and be a registered voter in Elwood Town. Elwood Town Council will appoint a Councilmember on Tuesday January 7, 2013 at Elwood Town Hall 5235 w. 8800 n. Elwood at 7:00. Any questions regarding this matter can be referred to Gina Marble, Elwood Town Recorder/Clerk at 257-5518 between 8:00 am – 4:00 p.m. M-F.

Notice is hereby given that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers [Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah] to receive input on the following proposed petitions:
1. MARBLE HILLS AMENDMENT, SS13-017, amendment to lots 9, 10, and 11 from three lots to create two lots of 9 and 11 (vacating lot 10).
2. SITE PLAN, Washakie Renewable Energy, SP13-005, to include cooling tower, general process building, and French fry factory.
Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 of the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse. Any questions should be directed to Scott Lyons, County Planner @ 435-734-3316.

The Deweyville Town Council will have a public hearing on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 at 7:00 pm to discuss Ordinance #2014-01. AN ORDINANCE TO PRESCRIBE TIME AND PLACE OF REGULAR PUBLIC MEETINGS OF DEWEYVILLE TOWN FOR THE YEAR 2014.
The Deweyville Town Council Meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month. The Deweyville Planning and Zoning Commission meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month. These meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Deweyville Town Hall, located at 10870 N. Hwy 38 in Deweyville.

2014 Board Meeting Schedule
Bear River Water Conservancy District Board Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month except for November and December. The meetings are held in the Bear River Water Conservancy District Conference Room at 102 West Forest Street in Brigham City, Utah unless otherwise stated in the agenda. All meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that on December 18, 2013 the Garland City Council received the completed financial audit of Garland City for the year ending June 30, 2013. Wiggins & Company, an independent auditing firm, conducted the audit and found the city to be in compliance with the laws and regulations. The audit report is available for public inspection at the Garland City Office at 72 North Main Street, Garland, Utah.
