accidentAn Idaho couple was taken to Bear River Valley Hospital with injuries following an accident on 6000 W. and SR-30.

Lee Perry, with Utah Highway Patrol, said the accident occurred just before 10 p.m., on Monday night, when a 2001 GMC Sonoma pickup, driven by Taz Brown of Willard, was traveling southbound on 6000 W. and failed to stop at the stop sign entering onto SR-30.

The Sonoma was struck by an eastbound Buick Lucerne occupied by Charles and Carolyn Posegate of Blackfoot, Idaho.  The impact tipped the truck onto its side just south of SR-30.

The Posegates were transported by ambulance.  Brown, who was uninjured, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign and no proof of insurance.
