Savior of the World
Tremonton West Stake presents “Savior of the World”, Nov. 21-23, at Tremonton West Stake Center. Performances begin at 7 p.m., each night with a matinee show on Saturday Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. Free tickets are available through Michelle Martineau, 435-279-5918, and Marlene Shirley, 435-764-6247.
Odell Smith and his accordion will be at Our House on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Lunch may be purchased for $3 or a sack lunch can be brought in.
Shades charity dinner and show will run on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m., at the Garland Civic Center. Cost is $15 per person, advanced reservations only. No children under the age of eight allowed. To make reservations or for more information, call 257-3754.
Job Search help is offered from 5-7 p.m., Wednesdays. Stories with Torie, 4-5 p.m., are Thursday.
Strange happenings are going on. Who you gonna call? Come to the library on Thursday at 4 p.m., to find out. Maybe they will still be around for Ping Pong Club at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. Meet local authors, Heather Frost and Josi Kilpack, and get signed copies of their books. Frost will talk about Guardians, while copies of Kilpack’s book, Rocky Road, will be available for purchase.
Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m., is Makeup Club. Make your own lip gloss.
Senior computer classes are in session on Tuesdays at the Senior Center from 9-10 a.m.
Nov. 15, will be a Thanksgiving craft day for children. Nov. 16, is International Game Day. Games will be available at the library during the day and at night at the Public Works building. A Teen Game Night is also offered. Sign up to use the new Wii games and system at the library.

The AARP Drivers Safety Class will be offered Nov. 21, at 10 a.m., at the Bear River Valley Senior Center, 510 W. 1000 N., Tremonton. The class is taught by Steve Hodges, an AARP certified instructor. To register, call 257-9455 or 257-3747. Class space is limited. This class reviews the basic rules of the road for older drivers and can qualify a person for auto insurance discounts. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members.
Jubilee of Trees
The Bear River Valley Hospital Foundation extends an invitation to the holiday dinner and silent auction for annual Jubilee of Trees Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Box Elder County fairgrounds Events Center, 320 N. 1000 W., Tremonton. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
The silent auction will feature beautiful, fully decorated Christmas trees and other holiday décor. Tickets for the dinner are $25 per person (18 and older) and need to be purchased in advance. Contact Mary at (435) 207-4702. Dress is semi-formal.
