A gun-wielding man threatened a clerk at Lainie’s Country Store in Honeyville Friday night before taking off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man, described as a Hispanic, between the ages of 25-35, with shaggy brown hair, entered the small convenience store about 6:45 p.m., and brandished a pistol, demanding money from the clerk.  The clerk complied and handed over all the cash in the register.

The man then fled in a blue passenger car.  He was wearing a black shirt and jeans.
