ROAD VACATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 72-3-108 that a public hearing will be held concerning a petition to vacate 20800 North between 24400 West and 25200 West in the Hansel Valley area of Box Elder County. The public hearing will be held on the 16th day of October 2013, at 5:20 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Box Elder County Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah 84302. PUBLIC NOTICE
Tremonton City Council has passed Ordinance No. 13-11, an ordinance of Tremonton City Corporation, vacating public easements being a part of lots 42, 43, 58 and 59 of Holmgren Estates East Subdivision Phase 3.
Passed and adopted on the 17th day of September 2013. The ordinance may be reviewed in the office of the City Recorder, 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah during regular business hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Tremonton City Council has passed Ordinance No. 13-17, an ordinance of Tremonton City Corporation, establishing the Main Street Mix Committee, a public body that serves as an advisory board to the City Council (and as appropriate the Planning Commission) on Main Street, downtown, and gateway issues.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Tremonton City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on November 12, 2013. 102 South Tremont Street, 5:30 p.m., or thereafter and at which time public comment will be heard and consideration given to proposed amendments to Title II Chapter 2.04 Subdivision Ordinance concerning the submission of an application and form and contents of required documents to be submitted when amending or vacating a recorded subdivision plat, and the submission of an application and form and contents of required documents to be submitted for a lot line adjustment. A copy of the proposed amendments will be available for review or comment prior to the public hearing at Tremonton City hall, 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah during normal business hours.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
1.1 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
A. Bidders are invited to bid on a Construction Contract known as:
HONEYVILLE CITY CULINARY WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
2650 WEST WATERLINE, 6980 NORTH TO 7200 NORTH
B. The location of the work is in Honeyville City, Box Elder County, Utah. The site location is 6980 North to 7200 North on 2650 West Street and is further described and shown on the plans.
C. The work to be performed consists of a single construction contract described as follows:
HONEYVILLE CITY CULINARY WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
2650 WEST WATERLINE, 6980 NORTH TO 7200 NORTH
Contracts for the contract will be awarded in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The work consists of constructing1,440 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water distribution line and appurtenances.
D. The OWNER is the HONEYVILLE CITY, UTAH.
E. The WATER SYSTEM ENGINEER AND THE PROJECT ENGINEER is HANSEN AND ASSOCIATES, INC.

1.2 BID LOCATION AND OPENING
A. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. MDT, at the office of the Project Engineer, HANSEN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. at 538 North Main, Brigham City, Utah, on Thursday, October 17, 2013. Bids received after 2:00 p.m. MDT will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at said office about 2:00 p.m. by the ENGINEER or an official representative of the OWNER.
B. On the outside of the envelope, the bidder shall indicate the Construction Contract title, the name and address of the Bidder, and the date and time of Bid opening and the Bidder’s return mailing address.
1.3 BID SECURITY
A. Bid security in the amount of 5% percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contracts.
1.4 PRE-BID SITE TOUR
A. A pre-bid site tour will be held at 10:00 a.m. MDT on the 9th day of
OCTOBER , 2013, commencing from the Honeyville City Municipal Building/Fire Station, 6625 N 6890 N, Honeyville, Utah. All contractors intending to submit a bid are invited to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Bidders are advised that information affecting drawings, specifications, conditions, scope of the Work, etc. may be discussed. OWNER assumes no obligation to disclose information discussed at the pre-bid site tour to Bidders who do not attend. Absent Bidders assume all risk of failure to attend.
1.5 BASIS OF BIDS
A. Bids for each Construction Contract shall be on a unit price basis unless otherwise specified in the bid schedules.
1.6 CONTRACT TIME
A. The Work will be Substantially Completed for the Contract by December 31, 2013 (pavement restoration may be granted an extension until May 15, 2014).
1.7 EXAMINATION AND PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS
A. Complete sets of Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the offices of the PROJECT ENGINEER at 538 North Main, Brigham City, Utah after 9:00 A.M., on the 2nd day of October, 2013. A non-refundable charge of $50.00 will be required for each complete set. Payment must be a cashier’s or company check payable to the HANSEN AND ASSOCIATES.
1.8 RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS
A. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the OWNER.
1.9 VALIDITY PERIOD FOR BIDS
A. Bids shall remain valid for 30 days after the day of Bid opening. Bidders who withdraw their bid after Bid opening, but before expiration of said period, shall forfeit their bid security if Notice of Intent to Award to the successful Bidder is made by OWNER.
