NOTICE TO WATER USERS

The  applications  below  were  filed  with  the Division of Water Rights in Box Elder County.

These are informal proceedings per Rule R655-6-2.

Protests  concerning  an  application  must  be legibly written or typed, contain the name and mailing  address of  the  protesting  party,  STATE  THE APPLICATION  NUMBER  PROTESTED,  CITE  REASONS FOR THE PROTEST, and REQUEST A HEARING, if desired.  Also, A $15 FEE MUST BE INCLUDED FOR  EACH  APPLICATION PROTESTED.  Protests  must be filed with the Division of Water Rights, PO Box 146300, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-6300, or by  hand  delivery  to  a  Division office during normal business hours ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 24, 2013.

Tremonton City Council has passed Ordinance No. 13-13, an ordinance of Tremonton City Corporation, amending Title II Subdivision Ordinance, Chapter 2.04, Section 2.04.030 B, Public Notice of the Tremonton City Corporation Land Use Code.

Passed and adopted on the 20th day of August 2013.  The ordinance may be reviewed in the office of the City Recorder, 102 south Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah during regular business hours.

Tremonton City Council has passed Ordinance No. 13-12, an ordinance of Tremonton City Corporation, adopting an amendment to Title I Zoning Code, Chapter 1.03 Definitions, Agricultural Industry and amending and adding to Chapter 1.08 Commercial and Industrial Zone Districts of the Tremonton City Corporation Land Use Code.

PUBLIC NOTICE

COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 372

On August 14, 2013 the Box Elder County Commission adopted Ordinance 372 amending the Box Elder County General Plan to include the Conservation Plan for Greater Sage Grouse in Utah as dated February 14, 2013 and the West Box Elder County Coordinated Resource Management Plan and providing that this ordinance shall become effective upon publication.

  A complete copy of this ordinance is available for review at the Box Elder County Clerk’s Office at the Box Elder County Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah.

The proposal to create the agriculture protection areas have been referred to the Box Elder County Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board and the Box Elder County Planning Commission, each of which recommended approval of the proposal.  The complete text of the reports of the Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board and the Planning Commission are available for public inspection in the office of the Box Elder County Clerk.

All interested persons may appear at the public hearing and speak in favor or against the proposal, any proposed modifications to the proposal or the recommendation of the Box Elder County Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board and the Box Elder County Planning Commission.
