The AARP Drivers Safety Program, a classroom course that helps older drivers become aware of changes that occur due to aging and how to adjust driving accordingly, will be offer Aug. 16, from 12:30-4:30 p.m., at the Bear River Valley Senior Center, 510 W. 1000 N., Tremonton. The program is taught by certified instructor Steve Hodges. To register, call the center, 257-9455, or Hodges, 257-3747. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Class space is limited. Completion qualifies participant for a discount on auto insurance.

New Life Fellowship
New Life Fellowship of Cache Valley is looking for old bikes, bike parts or financial support for the Bike School Outreach, Aug. 24-31. Donations can be taken to 2045 N. 800 E., North Logan or contact Angela Konakis-Rice in Tremonton at 801-367-0081. The public is invited to a “Pick a Part” day at the North Logan location, where bikes will be repaired for free.
BRHS Class of ‘88
The Bear River High School Class of ’88 reunion will be on Friday, Aug. 23. Many classmates have expressed an interest in touring the new high school and having our dinner there, as well. We will meet at 5 p.m., for a tour of the school, with dinner to follow at 6 p.m. Nathan Hardy has agreed to organize a golf outing on Friday before the reunion.
