A rollover on SR-30 near mile marker 97 on Saturday, Aug. 10, sent four people to the hospital with injuries.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper James Martin, Thomas Tubbs, 31, was traveling westbound in a white Dodge Grand Caravan about 4 p.m. He apparently fell asleep at the wheel, drifting to the left. When he woke, he overcorrected, rolling the car multiple times. The car came to a stop on its roof facing southbound. The driver, along with three children in the car, ages 7, 6 and 2, were transported to Bear River Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Martin said the occupants were lucky the vehicle did not hit any other traffic during the crash.
