Bear River City: Pie Recipe Contest Tuesday, July 23, 7 p.m. Movie in the park, “Brave” at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, the 5K run/walk is at 6:30 a.m. Traditional bell ringing at 7 a.m., breakfast at the bowery at 7 a.m. Parade at 9, flag ceremony at 9:45. Races and log cabin tours begin at 10 a.m. Baby show at 10:30 a.m. Auction at 11:30 a.m. Art show/quilt display at the civic center, noon-8 p.m. Program at 1 p.m., pie-eating contest at 2. Baseball tournaments and fish scramble start at 3:30 p.m. Rodeo kicks off at 4:30 p.m., dance at 7.

Bothwell: Dinner at 5:30 p.m., Friday, July 26, recommended donations are $2 per person or $10 per family. Auction at 6:30 p.m., followed by games. Youth rodeo at 8 p.m., with a $1 entry fee. 5K race is Saturday morning. Entry fee is $10. Pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m., flag ceremony and parade at 9 a.m.

Park Valley: Steak fry Friday, July 19, at 7 p.m., followed by a dance. Saturday, July 20, breakfast is at 7 a.m., followed by parade, program, games and lunch. Kids’ rodeo at 4 p.m., signups starts at 2:30 p.m., rodeo at 6 p.m.

Thatcher: Dinner on Friday, July 19, at the Thatcher Church bowery at 6 p.m. Bring potluck to share. Games, kids’ races and a waterslide.  Trailers or tents are welcome. Community breakfast Saturday at 7 a.m.

Tremonton: Friday, July 19, Suicide Prevention Walk 8 p.m., Jeanie Stevens Park. Monday, July 22, Ogden Raptors vs Helena Brewers 7 p.m., Lindquist Field. Friday, July 26, movie “Wreck-it-Ralph” at the Library Park at dusk. Men’s softball tournament. Saturday, July 27, Men’s softball tournament continued. 5K run at 7 a.m., 7:30 a.m., flag ceremony, 8-10 a.m., breakfast provided by city council, 8 a.m., booths open, 9 a.m., baby contest, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., car show, 10 a.m., carnival rides, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Little League all-star games, 1-3 p.m., family contests, 2 p.m., home run derby, 4 p.m., family games and Alumni softball game, 6 p.m., stage performances. Concert at 8 p.m., fireworks at 10.
