A 17-year-old male was taken to Bear River Valley Hospital Wednesday night after he was injured in a collision with an unidentified car on Tremonton’s Main Street.
Tremonton Police Chief Dave Nance said the accident occurred just before 11 p.m., on July 3. The victim was riding a motorized scooter westbound at about 400 W., when a vehicle he described as an older maroon-colored car turned in front of him. The scooter struck the passenger side door of the vehicle.
The suspect vehicle did not stop, but continued north on 400 W.
The victim was treated at the scene for shoulder and leg injuries before he was transported. Investigators are looking into the incident and are seeking help from anyone who may have additional information.
