Fire 6-12-13

Tremonton firefighters responded to a fire caused by a fallen power line today, June 12, at about 3:30 p.m. According to fireman Rusty Scoffield a tree branch fell on a service line around 200 E. 500 N., Tremonton, in an alleyway. The branch snapped the cable and the line arched, starting a straw bale and some dry grass on fire. The power pole and a nearby fence were also on fire. Firefighters had the fire contained within a matter of minutes. Estimated damage is unknown at this time.
