The Elwood Second Ward will host a pre 4th of July Sunday musical production for all Elwood residents on June 30, at 6 p.m., at the Elwood Church. The event will feature the Bear River Community Chorale under the direction of Carl Ashby. Refreshments will follow.
Relay for Life

Miss BR Valley

Wheat and Beet Run-Walk
The 15th annual Garland public Library Wheat and Beet –Hit the Street 10K run-5K run-2 Mile Walk -1Mile Kids Run will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. Pre-register online at www.garlandlibrary.org or www.garlandutah.org, by July 12, for the discount price and the shirt. Registrations can also be picked up at the library or city offices.

Search & Rescue
The annual Box Elder Search and Rescue Pancake Breakfast is Saturday, Jun 15, from 7-11 a.m., at the Search and Rescue building, west of the railroad tracks on Forest Street in Brigham City.
Tickets are $6 a plate or $3 for children under 8. Door prizes and raffle items will be offered, including a Tri-Star shotgun, Over and Under 12 gauge. Shotgun tickets are $5 each. Regular raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
The Tremonton Library will be offering and eight-week computer class. This adult class begins June 19, and senior classes will begin June 18. The cost is free. Sign up early as space is limited.
4-H has summer camps for everyone, from sewing to science to outdoors. Sewing and cooking camps are held throughout the summer and participants need to be enrolled in 4-H.
Other camps open to 4-H members and non- members: NXT Robotics – $35; fifth-seventh graders, June 17-20, in Tremonton WeDo Robotics – $25; second-fourth graders; June 24-26, in Brigham City, 9 a.m.-noon or 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Roughin It Outdoors – $35; third-seventh graders; July 29-30, Mantua; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Investigating Science – $5; third-seventh graders; Aug. 5, in Tremonton; 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
