Idaho man falls asleep, rolls car
A southern Idaho man escaped serious injuries early Thursday morning after he apparently fell asleep on I-15 and rolled his car.
According to Lt. Lee Perry of the Utah Highway Patrol, the 43-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of the 2005 gray Camry, was traveling southbound near milepost 378, where I-15 and I-84 merge, when he dozed off. The vehicle went off the freeway, down a steep embankment and through a barbed wire fence. It then rolled one and half times, coming to rest on its hood, straddling an irrigation ditch.
The man was transported to Bear River Valley Hospital for examination.
