Down with the old, up with the new

hauling outThe Box Elder County fairgrounds will have a new look come August if plans go according to schedule.

County crews are currently in the process of taking down the old Fine Arts building and small animal barn and preparing the area for a newer, larger structure that will not only be utilized during the annual county fair, but can be used for multiple activities during the rest of the year.

A new beef barn attached to the north end of the auction barn is also in the works.  The current beef stalls will then be turned into an open eating area to accommodate fairgoers.
