Bears fall by one at Morgan

Bear River boys basketball drops another heart breaker, this time by one in Morgan, 82-81. Wade Miller splashed in 38 for the Bears who fall to 6-4 (13-7 overall) in region play.

Austin Miller added 11 and Nick Hillis 10. Jake Miles paced Morgan with 29.

The difference in the game came at the free throw line, according to the Deseret News. The Bears were 16 of 23 while Morgan connected on 22 of 25.

Next up for BR is a Wednesday game at home versus Stansbury then a road game at Tooele. This may be their last home game of the year as the playoffs start the week after and BR is currently tied for third place.
