Christmas at the Museum is Dec. 1-21, and includes gifts, decorated trees for sale and goodies. Gingerbread cookies are available for children to decorate.
The second annual Cowboy Christmas is coming to the Box Elder County fairgrounds, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 (5-9 p.m.) and Dec. 1 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), in the auction barn.

Vegetables may sometimes seem like the hum drum side dish on the dinner plate. But that doesn’t have to be the case. They can be grilled, roasted, seasoned with herbs, stir fried, combined with unexpected or topped with a sauce or melted cheese. All it takes is a little creativity. Vegetable Cookery – Get Creative class will be offered in Tremonton on Nov. 28, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Bear River Valley Senior Center, 510 W. 1000 N., Tremonton. On Nov. 29, the class will be held at Bridgerland Applied Technology College, 325 W. 1100 S., in Brigham City from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The second annual Christmas Music Spectacular will be held Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Brigham City Tabernacle. Special guest performer will be Paul Cardall. Admission to the concert is free.
Garland Charity Theatre presents “The Shades” Christmas dinner and program on Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m., at the Garland armory. Catering will be by the Bear River High School girls’ tennis team.

Christmas Tree Lane
Christmas Tree Lane will begin Dec. 1, at the Brigham City Historic Depot. This year there will be a Community Christmas Tree for those who do not want to decorate an entire tree by themselves. Each individual or family is asked to bring an ornament to hang on the tree. Veterans’ pictures are also requested.
There is also a gift shop where you can pick up gifts for the entire family, including Bodens candy. Volunteers are at the Depot Monday, Thursday through Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The Christmas Story Hour will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. For more information, call Marge or Jack Small at 435-723-5476.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to help plan and organize the 15th annual Fun Run. This fun, family event is held in conjunction with Garland Wheat & Beet Days and all proceeds go directly to the Garland City Library. The Garland City Library and the Department of Workforce Services will present a Job Seeking Skills workshop at the Garland City offices on Wednesdays, Dec. 12 and 19, from 5-7 p.m. Please plan on arriving 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
This free workshop will offer strategies and tips on developing better job searching skills, networking, resume writing and interviewing skills.
