Oyster and Ham Dinner
Corinne Lodge #5 of Free and Accepted Masons, is holding its annual oyster and ham dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at 4055 Montana Street, Corinne. Fried oysters, baked ham, fried green tomatoes, garlic bread and salads are on the menu for just a $15 donation per person. This is an open house with Norm Smith at the organ.
All proceeds will go toward the renovation of the Corinne Lodge, the oldest Masonic lodge in Utah.
“Women in the Year 2012” is the theme for the upcoming Women’s Forum, slated for Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., at Utah State University – Brigham City campus, Milton P. Miller building, 185 W. 1100 S., Brigham City. The forum is sponsored by Brigham City Community Hospital.
Keynote speaker will be Megan Faulkner Brown, founder of The Sweet Tooth Fairy Bakery chain. Other topics include A New Perspective of Grief, Living on a Dime, Boost for Life: An Updates on Immunization, Discipline Without Tears, Trash to Treasure, Party Planning, Keys of Successful Family Reunions, CPR for Parents and Hair Cut and Color Tips.

The Bear River Valley Museum is preparing for winter with new hours, Monday-Friday, from 1-5 p.m. To schedule visits at other times, call Roberta Fronk, 435-257-7696.
Christmas at the Museum will include gifts, trees and goodies. Santa may even put in an appearance. Children wishing to write letters to Santa can drop them off at the Deweyville Post Office at the Museum during regular hours and they will be stamped and mailed.
