It was as dominant an effort as the Bears had put forth all year. Behind the potent rushing skills of Kyle Zundel and Jeramie Selman, Bear River cruised to a surprising 36-6 win at Wasatch.
The Region 10 #2 seed was favored by anywhere from 14 to 3 points over the Region 11 #3 seeded Bears. But Zundel broke free for three scores, Selman added another and his running mate, Taylor Lund, scored one. Jared Olsen also kicked a field goal for Bear River (7-4, 4-2).
The Bears will most likely face Desert Hills next week in the quarter finals of the state inter-region playoffs.
