After a heated hour-long discussion three weeks ago regarding the conditions in the River Valley subdivision in Tremonton, residents in that subdivision returned to the Tremonton City Council Tuesday night to express their thanks.

“We just appreciate the Chief of Police and their hard work and how fast they took care of it,” Erin Martin, a River Valley resident, said.

Angie Hamblin, another resident, asked the council what is in the works for their neighborhood.

“We’re working on the details as we speak,” councilman Dave Deakin said.

Tremonton City Manager Shawn Warnke added that they have a list of things they want to work on and they would be more than willing to sit down with residents and go over their concerns to get things accomplished.

“It’s a work in progress and we didn’t ignore you,” added Mayor Roger Fridal.
