The kittens are all wide-eyed and too young to be afraid of Everly and Georgia. The girls have fallen in love with the babies. Everly has chosen two of the four for her own, and Georgia just likes them all. Laura is trying to help the youngsters learn to “hold the kittens gently,” and “keep all their little feet gathered up comfortably.”
