A 42-year-old motorcyclist died of head trauma on Sunday, Aug. 19, after he crashed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on I-15 about 12:30 p.m.

Bin Gu of China, was traveling southbound near milepost 376, where the vehicle drifted off the left shoulder of the road and down through the median.  There it struck a cable barrier.  The driver was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the north side of the barrier, with the vehicle coming to rest on the right side.

The driver was transported to Bear River Valley Hospital by ambulance and then flown by air ambulance to McKay Dee Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
