PUBLIC NOTICE TO ELWOOD TOWN CITIZENS
Elwood Town Council will be filling the vacancy of a Councilmember seat, the term is for 16 months. Any citizen of Elwood who is interested in the open seat must: be a resident of Elwood Town for at least 12 consecutive months, be a United States citizen, be 18 years of age or older and be a registered voter in Elwood Town. Elwood Town Council will appoint a Councilmember on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at Elwood Town Hall 5235 w. 8800 n. Elwood at 7:00. Any questions regarding this matter can be referred to Gina Marble, Elwood Town Recorder/Clerk at 257-5518 between 8:00 am – 4:00 p.m. M-F.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Tremonton City will hold a public hearing on August 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Center at 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah 84337. The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending the budget entitled “The Tremonton City Annual Implementation Budget 2012-2013 (General Fund, Capital Fund, Enterprise Fund(s) and Special Fund(s))”, for the period commencing July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013.
A copy of the proposed budget will be on file for public inspection on August 3, 2012 in the City Office, 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah 84337. Interested persons are invited to appear at the public hearing or to file written comments with the Tremonton City Recorder regarding amending of the budget.

Tremonton City Council has passed Ordinance No. 12-11 an ordinance granting the local fire official the authority to prohibit the use of any ignition source, including fireworks, lighters, matches, and smoking materials within the City – and penalty.
