On Thursday morning, June 28, at about 8:40, a male driver pulling a 25-foot travel trailer lost control and rolled his vehicle and trailer near mile post 3 on SR-91 at the mouth of Sardine Canyon.
According to Brigham City Police Lt. Dennis Vincent, the driver, Kelly Leishman, 53, said he and his wife, Cindy, 54, of Nibley, were traveling down the canyon, headed westbound. The roadway is currently under construction and the shoulders on the road are both raised.
Leishman told officers the trailer tires hit the uneven pavement and the trailer began to fishtail and he lost control.
The vehicles crossed all lanes of travel and rolled onto the shoulder of the road and the truck came to a rest on its wheels while the trailer stopped on its side.
No one else was involved in the accident and the occupants received minor injuries and lacerations. Brigham City police responded and a Brigham City ambulance transported the couple to  the hospital.
