The public is invited to attend the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 29-30, at Pioneer Park in Brigham City.
Survivor and team registration begins at 4 p.m., followed by a reception at 5. Opening ceremonies get underway at 6 p.m. Team members will then walk the track for 24 hours to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and their fight for a cure.
Entertainment will be provided through the night, including performances by Sage Junction, Vertical Overtone, The Greg Simpson Band and others. The luminary ceremony will be held at 10 p.m., with a youth dance slated at 11.
Food booths, crafts and games are part of the planned activities that continue through Saturday. Closing ceremony will be at 2 p.m. The is no charge for admission.
