The Bear River Valley Hospital Foundation hosted a Health and Wellness Fair last Saturday at the Bear River Valley Hospital campus. Many from throughout the valley attended the event to learn more about health and to have fun.
The event kicked off with a 5K run, followed by a free breakfast and plenty of activities. There were 42 community booths in attendance to help educate people, along with fee and low cost health screenings, cancer education, a bike rodeo, senior wellness backyard vacation ideas and lots of door prizes. Life Flight also landed and allowed everyone to take a look inside.
Mary Marble from the BRV Hospital Foundation said, “The whole purpose of this fair is to educate and encourage the community to be healthy. There is a lot of fun available close to home and does not cost any money.”
