John Paul Maguire

John Paul Maguire passed away on June 19, 2012 in Salt Lake City, UT, from heart failure.  He was the son of Darrell J. and Pauline Laws Maguire.  John was born on July 15, 1966 in Salt Lake City UT.

John lived in many places throughout his life. He lived in Salt Lake, UT; Rhode Island, Virginia, California, Logan and Tremonton, UT.

John Graduated from Bear River High. He worked at Lazy Boy, Hill Field and as a Locksmith.  John found enjoyment in motorcycle riding and fishing.  John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

John is survived by his parents, siblings; Darrell James Maguire Jr., Darlene Maguire, Beverly (Chad) Richins, Traci Sorensen, Lori (Bob) Humpfrey, stepsisters; Niki (Gary) Allison, Marta (Mike) Roe; Mica (Sean) Moore, grandmother Colleen Udy Laws and his special nieces Camille  and Sophie. He was preceded in death by his natural father Richard William Loving.

A celebration of life will be held on Wed. June 27, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main Garland UT.  Burial will be at 10:00 am Thursday June 28, 2012 at the Valley View Cemetery in Bothwell, UT.  Condolences may be shared at ruddfuneralhome.com


Veloy H. Auger

BOTHWELL – Veloy H. Auger, born March 29, 1926, passed away on June 16, 2012. Veloy grew up in Preston, Idaho, on Glendale Reservoir.

His life was filled with various interests and many types of employment. His passion was dowsing, which brought him much happiness and fulfillment and took him on adventures around the world.

He married the former Junelin Perkins who preceded him in death on April 15, 1991. They raised their six children together in Glendale until 1974, after which they moved to Utah.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and gave many years of dedicated service to his church callings.

Veloy married Bonnie Morgan, of Bothwell, Utah, in August 2001. They enjoyed traveling and visiting family.

Veloy is a tremendous example and influence in the lives of his family. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, wit, love of a good story, and willingness to always lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Morgan Auger, his nine children; Loylyn Hawkes (Stanley), Lazell Auger (Elaine), Charles Auger (Susan), Wayne Auger ( Jane), Bridgette Garner (Carl), Jennifer Auger (Mike), Alisha VanDerlinden (Phil), J.R. Morgan (Becky),  James Morgan (Jen), 29 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bothwell LDS Chapel with Brother Steve Skinner conducting.  Viewings will be held Tuesday, June 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 in Preston, ID and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bothwell Chapel 10350 W. 11600 N. Interment will be at the Preston Cemetery at approximately 2:00 p.m.
