Diabetes Tour De Cure

About 25.8 million people (8.3 percent of the population) are affect by diabetes while another seven million people are undiagnosed. In order to help increase awareness, education and funding for local programs and research projects to help fight diabetes the American Diabetes Association sponsors the Tour De Cure. This cycling fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 9, at Rees Pioneer Park in Brigham City.

Individuals can participate in five different routes, the 100-mile (start time 7:30 a.m.), 80-mile (9 a.m.), 60-mile (9 a.m.), 25-mile (10:30 a.m.) or a one-mile family fun ride (noon). Every group starts and finishes at Rees Pioneer Park, 800 W. Forest St., Brigham City. Routespass the Bear River Bird Refuge, Golden Spike Monutment, ATK Rock Garden and other scenic areas throughout Box Elder County.
