Softball Team Lives Another Day, Plays for State Championship Monday
Bear River’s softball team survived a marathon game with Spanish Fork, winning 6-5 in 10 innings, then turned around and thrashed Snow Canyon 13-3 to move into the state championship game.
The game was moved to Monday after rain washed out most of the play on Friday. The Bears will square off against Spanish Fork, a 17-0 winner over those same Snow Canyon girls. The game is at 2 p.m. at Salt Lake Community College. The Leader will be posting updates on its Facebook page on Monday. See those updates at: www.facebook.com/tremonton
