An 18-year-old Tremonton man attempted to evade police Tuesday morning but was apprehended at 270 W. 300 N., Tremonton, following a foot chase that covered several blocks.
ATremonton officer attempted to serve a warrant on Abel Carmona just before 7 a.m., but the suspect fled in his car. Carmona later abandoned his vehicle and headed toward North Park. He then ran in the direction of the railroad tracks. The officer also left his squad car and a pursuit on foot ensued.
