PROMONTORY POINTERS 12/15/10
This year at the Wrangler National Finals of the PRCA in Las Vegas, the Richmans of Promontory have a relative competing in the barrel racing. She is Christina Richman and is doing well for her first time at this rodeo finals.
On Saturday, Cody Richman and friends took the Double S Bar cows down the road to winter pasture. Clynn followed and helped with a truck to push them along.
On Sunday, Winnie attended the blessing of great-grandson Jayden Richard Nelson at the Brigham City Third Ward. Jayden’s father’s uncle Gary Nelson did the blessing.
Orson and Jeannette Poulsen report Christmas shopping was their biggest thing of the week. “We still have a lot to do,” Orson says.
Boyd Udy has been busy at the ranch all day, especially doing fencing. However, his evenings are totally filled with the PRCA rodeos on TV. “I love it!” he says.
Kaye Draper reports playing bingo most days. She and four friends went to lunch on Friday. It was their monthly get-together.
Cleo and Gary Petit report enjoying the moderate temperatures. “We’re ok,” says Cleo, “We still are upright!”
The front side of Jim and Starr Mitchell’s home still has a lot of snow. Starr reports just doing things around the house and enjoying the wood stove fire. “We are getting ready for Christmas,” Starr says.
