Number two ranked Wasatch methodically pulled out a win over the Bear River Bears in boys’ basketball action in Garland Wednesday, 51-42. The Bears made several runs but were not able to pull ahead late in the game. More to come later, including video highlights on Thursday. »

Tremonton chiropractor sentenced for tax evasion

John Gauruder of Tremonton, convicted of tax evasion following a three-day trial in May, will spend 42 months in federal prison.  U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups issued the sentence Tuesday afternoon. Waddoups also ordered Gauruder, a chiropractor, to pay $408,685.15 in restitution.  He also will serve 36 months of supervised release when he finishes... »
